Uintah Railway was a 62 mile short line running from a connection with the D&RGW at Mack, Colorado to the gilsonite mines at Dragon, Watson and Rainbow, Utah.  Uintah's primary reason for being was the transport of the mineral gilsonite from the Utah mines to Mack, thence to be transloaded onto standard gauge freight cars for delivery elsewhere.  Uintah Railway had no other connections to the outside world other than the D&RGW.  Mack is listed in D&RGW's Grand Junction and Colorado Division timetables.
