Utah Railway is primarily a coal hauling railroad, running from mines in Carbon and Emery Counties in Utah to a junction with the D&RGW mainline at Martin (Utah Ry. Junction).  D&RGW and Utah Ry share the mainline from Martin to Provo.  Utah Ry owns half the double track from Thistle to Provo, and has trackage rights on the section from Thistle to Martin.  The corresponding D&RGW trackage is included in the Salt Lake Division & Utah Division timetables.
